ZHARA ZIBIBBO
Sicilian fortified wine
Denomination: IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) Sicilian Lands.
Zibibbo: Particularly widespread in the Mediterranean area, Zibibbo was introduced into Sicily by the Arabs with the name "Zabib" which means "dried grapes".
It is characterized by its versatility and ability to grow in environments where climatic conditions are hostile.
In western Sicily, Zibibbo is particularly lush thanks to a clayey soil rich in sodium and mineral salts. The grapes produce a dry wine of great value with a sweet and overwhelming aftertaste, fruity aromas and marine notes.
Grapes used: 100% Zibibbo.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Color: light golden, intense and aromatic.
Aroma: complex, rich and expressive in which, alongside notes of dried grapes, orange and mandarin stand out.
Taste: the taste is soft, warm, sweet and citrusy.
COMBINATIONS
Excellent as a dessert wine, it goes well with dry pastries and fruit ice creams.
SERVICE TEMPERATURE
Serve at 12° - 14°C.
